A police standoff involving a barricaded suspect with a child in Oakland’s Fruitvale neighborhood ended peacefully Monday morning, according to authorities.
San Leandro police Sgt. Ted Henderson said a SWAT team was summoned to a home near 106th Avenue and MacArthur Boulevard, where Detwone Watson, 29, was hiding.
