$14 Billion Delta Plan To Help Fish Survival, Water Officials Say

California water officials said on Wednesday that a $14 billion twin-tunnel plan for the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta would restore the ecosystem and reduce mortality of threatened fish, although during dry years the delta smelt would be killed at the same rate as today.

Brown Appoints Dems To Enviroment, Employment Posts

Gov. Jerry Brown on Wednesday named his top cabinet members in key employment and environmental departments and appointed seven members to the state Board of Education.
