A 78-year-old man was beaten with his own cane and pepper sprayed in San Francisco’s Tenderloin in broad daylight on Tuesday. The robbery incident happened only a block away from the police station and the suspects got away.
A man was arrested in Fremont on Monday after he allegedly beat another man with an elderly woman’s cane, police said.
An attacker beat a 70-year-old man and stole his cane, and robbed a woman in her 60s of a bag while the pair waited at a bus stop near Candlestick Park on Tuesday morning, police said.
An elderly man wielding a cane fended off two teens trying to rob him in San Francisco’s Bernal Heights neighborhood on Monday afternoon, police said.
