Danville Pilot Sullenberger Marks 5 Years Since ‘Miracle On The Hudson’

“I’m filled with joy and gratitude about what was able to be accomplished by so many five years ago today and the fact that all 155 passengers and crew are here today because of it,” said Capt. Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger III of Danville.

‘Sully’ Sullenberger Riding With Blue Angels Over San Francisco For Fleet Week

Capt. Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, the Danville pilot known for safely landing a disabled US Airways jet in the Hudson River in 2009, will be riding along with the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels Wednesday.
