SF Parks Employee Accused In Fatal Hit & Run Placed On Driving Restrictions

A San Francisco parks employee accused of running over and killing a woman in a Bernal Heights park and then fleeing the scene had restrictions placed on his driving privileges Monday after he posted bail and was released from jail last week.

Gardener Faces Manslaughter Charge For Running Over, Killing SF Park Visitor

A San Francisco parks worker who fatally struck a woman as she lay at a park in Bernal Heights last month has been charged with felony counts of vehicular manslaughter and hit-and-run, prosecutors said Tuesday.

SF Rec And Park Officials Feel The Heat At City Hall After Death In Park

A hearing was held Thursday at San Francisco City Hall to examine the Recreation and Park Department’s safety policies and procedures, in the wake of last month’s tragic death of a 35-year-old mother who was allegedly run over by a Rec and Park employee while she was lounging in Holly Park. The employee was said to be driving an official department vehicle at the time of the accident.

Suspect, Victim Identified In Fatal Hit & Run At San Francisco Park

A woman who was fatally struck at a park in San Francisco’s Bernal Heights neighborhood on Thursday was a Zen monk, while the city employee who allegedly ran her over with a truck and drove away had a daughter die in a traffic accident earlier this year.
