Ruptured Fremont Gas Line Capped After Businesses Evacuated

PG&E crews have stopped the flow of gas from a gas line ruptured by a construction crew near a shopping center in Fremont that led to the evacuation of multiple businesses this afternoon, a PG&E spokeswoman said.

Concord Streets Reopened After Ruptured Gas Line Capped

Some streets in Concord were shut down Tuesday morning because of a gas leak, which has also prompted the closure of state Highway 4 off-ramps, police and the California Highway Patrol said.
