Giants’ Sandoval Out For At Least ‘Next Few Days’

The San Francisco Giants are still deciding whether Pablo ‘Panda’ Sandoval needs a stint on the disabled list, but manager Bruce Bochy said on Monday that he’ll at least be out “the next few days.”

A’s Put 3B Inge On DL With Strained Right Groin

The Oakland Athletics have placed third baseman Brandon Inge on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right groin and recalled infielder Adam Rosales from Triple-A Sacramento.

Sandoval Headed For Surgery, DL With Broken Wrist

Third baseman Pablo Sandoval has fractured the hamate bone in his left wrist, the team announced Thursday. He will undergo surgery Friday, Giants manager Bruce Bochy told the Giants beat writers. Sandoval is expected to miss four to six weeks.
