The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency’s board of directors voted Tuesday to abolish Sunday parking meter enforcement when it approved its new two-year operating budget.
The city started charging for Sunday street parking last January and far exceeded the projected amount of money it was expecting to bring in.
