Barricaded Gunman Surrenders After Hours-Long Oakland Standoff

An armed stolen car suspect who barricaded himself inside an East Oakland house and fired at Alameda County sheriff’s deputies on Monday night surrendered to police early Tuesday morning, a police spokeswoman said.
