From coached to players the Bucs had one of the most pitiful performances in recent memory. The final of 56 to 14 against the Atlanta Falcons doesn’t give this sloppy game any justice. Defense gave up 8 touchdowns while the office turned the ball over with 4 fumbles and a pick-six interception.
The NFC Championship Game came down to the 49ers offense verses the Seahawk defense, and Seattle’s number one ranked defense prevailed. San Francisco got the ball down six with the chance to pull off the upset but couldn’t make one more big play against their opponent.
Among the biggest reasons Jim Harbaugh’s Niners (4-2) are on a nice roll again and riding a three-game winning streak into Sunday’s game at Tennessee is because a once-dominant defense challenged itself to return to top form after several sub-par weeks. And that means forcing turnovers all over the field.
In the end, it didn’t much matter whether Kyle Boller or Carson Palmer played quarterback for the Oakland Raiders. The Kansas City Chiefs had their way with both.
