The 49ers knew they were buying a lottery ticket in 2012 when they drafted former South Caroline running back Marcus Lattimore in the fourth round despite severe knee damage left over from a college injury. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like that ticket will hit.
First up for the 49ers after their bye is the St. Louis Rams. After beating them less than a month ago, San Francisco should have no problems doing it again in front of their own home crowd.

San Francisco 49ers running back Marcus Lattimore has recorded two “Play Responsibly” ads for the South Carolina Education Lottery. Lattimore also is working with Charleston’s First Choice by Select Health of South Carolina to encourage 17-to-21-year-olds to take advantage of medical wellness visits.
