Marin County Pays $1.9M To Settle Stun Gun Suit

Marin County has agreed to pay $1.9 million to settle a lawsuit alleging sheriff’s deputies used excessive force when they repeatedly shocked a 66-year-old man with a stun gun at his home.

Rifles Stolen From Marin County Sheriff’s Truck

Two semi-automatic rifles were stolen from inside two Marin County sheriff’s pickup trucks parked in a locked garage at the Sky Oaks Ranger Station south of Fairfax, sheriff’s Lt. Barry Heying said Thursday.
