University of California students were protesting at four campuses where board members met by teleconference after worries about violence led to the cancellation of a previous meeting.
The University of California Board of Regents announced Monday that it is canceling its meetings in San Francisco this week because of “credible intelligence” indicating that violence was possible.
The talk was jobs at an economic conference hosted by the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Wednesday in Mission Bay, where the state’s new job czar shared some ideas for making the state friendlier for business.
