State Sen. Jerry Hill along with members of Mothers Against Drunk Driving introduced legislation at a news conference Monday that would require all drivers convicted of DUI to install an ignition interlock device on their vehicles.
A proposal released by the National Transportation Safety Board Tuesday to lower the legal blood-alcohol limit to .05 percent was met with mixed reaction in the Bay Area and nationwide.
The promotion, “Bottomless Saturdays,” has some concerned about safety and the possibility of binge drinking.
