A California Air National Guard fighter jet crashed during a routine training mission but the pilot safely ejected.
After superstorm Sandy made landfall Monday evening and continued to wreak havoc along the Eastern Seaboard from Virginia to Massachusetts, the Bay Area is responding to the natural disaster.
