Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom, San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee and excited visitors gathered along San Francisco’s waterfront Wednesday morning for the ringing of an opening bell to announce that the new Exploratorium is up and running.
Exploratorium Set To Open At New Location Next Week
After being located at the Palace of Fine Arts for more than 40 years, the Exploratorium is set to reopen at its new location along San Francisco’s Embarcadero on April 17th.
The Exploratorium Moving To New San Francisco Location
The Exploratorium will be closing its doors at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco at the start of the new year. The museum will be making its way to a new location at San Francisco’s Pier 15. Opening day is April 17.
Construction Of New Exploratorium Begins On San Francisco Waterfront
San Francisco’s Exploratorium broke ground on its new location Tuesday, marking the beginning of a $220 million project that is expected to transform a portion of the city’s waterfront.
