Arthur Brown Could Become The Next Great Ravens Defender

The Ravens will have to get used to not having Ray Lewis in the locker room. Though his leadership will never be fully replaced, the Ravens hope rookie Arthur Brown can pick up some of the slack left by Lewis’ departure.

Injuries Will Play A Minor Role In Super Bowl 47

With one more game on the schedule, the Ravens and 49ers come into Super Bowl 47 as healthy as they could hope to be. There are a lot of names on the injury report, but none to really be concerned about, as they have all played the previous game with the same problem.

49ers’ Willis Poised To Replace Ravens’ Lewis As NFL’s Premier LB

Two of the league’s most imposing inside linebackers both happen to wear No. 52. Aside from the number, Lewis and Willis are as different as they come. Lewis is emotional, loud and brash. Willis is soft-spoken and happy to stay behind the scenes.

Baltimore Ravens Playing For Ring And Respect

If the 49ers are to beat the Baltimore Ravens in Super Bowl XLVII, it will take a team effort. The Ravens play for the guy next to them, and will be a problem not only for the talent they have on the field, but also for the bond that holds them together. It’s a good thing the 49ers have played as one unit all year and will be entering the Super Bowl the better team, and clicking on both sides of the ball.

49ers Have Just As Much To Play For As Ravens

Super Bowl 47 may be the final game for Ray Lewis, but the 49ers have several players who will approach the game with the same mentality. If Baltimore thinks that Ray Lewis’ dramatic return to the field will allow the Ravens to play at the level that has allowed them to get this far, they had better look to the other sideline and what the 49ers are playing for. San Francisco is the hungrier team and playing for far more than their opponent.

Ravens’ Lewis More Focused On 49ers Than Retirement

It wouldn’t be surprising if Ray Lewis approached the Super Bowl with a feeling of finality, but the 37-year-old middle linebacker insisted Thursday that he’s thinking only about helping the Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers.
