5-Star Football Recruit Helps Stanford Land Pac-12’s Top Class

News that highly-touted defensive end Solomon Thomas announced plans to attend Stanford has pushed the Cardinal to the of the class in the Pac-12 on college football signing day, according to CBS Sports partner 247 Sports.

Shaw Sings Praises Of Smaller Stanford’s Recruiting Class

Looking for the right combination of brawn and brains, Stanford signed 12 players to national letters of intent Wednesday. That’s a considerably smaller—and less heralded—group than a year ago, when the Cardinal coach hauled in 22 players in what the program called the best class in its history.
