Sharks Beat Red Wings 4-1

Joe Pavelski got the puck to the right of the net and sent a one-timer wide in the final minute and the San Jose Sharks beat Jimmy Howard for the ninth straight time in the regular season with a 4-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday night.

Sharks Take 2-0 Series Lead With 2-1 Win Over Red Wings

Defensemen Ian White and Niclas Wallin scored their first goals of the postseason and Antti Niemi made 33 saves to help the San Jose Sharks take a 2-0 lead in their Western Conference semifinal series over the Detroit Red Wings with a 2-1 victory Sunday.
