Traffic At A Virtual Standstill As Thousands Of Anti-Abortion Demonstrators Converge On San Francisco

Tens of thousands of people who oppose abortion gathered in San Francisco Saturday for the 11th Annual Walk for Life event. The event created huge traffic jams in The City, with cars backed up all the way to the Bay Bridge.

A federal court in San Francisco Tuesday struck down Arizona’s ban on abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy.

Tens of thousands of people gathered Saturday at San Francisco’s City Hall for the 8th annual Walk for Life, one of the largest pro-life demonstrations on the West Coast.

1000s In San Francisco For Anti-Abortion Rally

Thousands of abortion opponents gathered in San Francisco for an annual demonstration on the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion. Organizers said the crowd on Saturday looked even larger than last year, when they estimated as many as 35,000 people attended the event.
