A person with knowledge of the negotiations says the Oakland Athletics have agreed to trade All-Star closer Andrew Bailey and outfielder Ryan Sweeney to the Boston Red Sox for outfielder Josh Reddick and prospects Miles Head and Raul Alcantara.
