Ferry Ridership Nearly Doubles During BART’s Weekend Transbay Tube Closure

Ridership on the San Francisco Bay Ferry nearly doubled on Saturday between Oakland, Alameda and San Francisco, ferry officials said.

BART, AC Transit, Muni Boosting Service For Bay Bridge Closure

Bay Area transit agencies said Tuesday that they will beef up service while the Bay Bridge is closed over Labor Day weekend but also said people should be prepared and research all their travel options during the closure.

Increased Ferry Service Available For Bay Bridge Closure

The Bay Bridge is closing Wednesday night and San Francisco Ferry boat operators said they are increasing service beginning first thing Thursday morning and continuing through the Labor Day weekend.

Ridership Spikes On Bay Ferries Because Of BART Strike

The San Francisco Bay Ferry saw three times its normal ridership at Jack London Square in Oakland Monday morning because of the BART strike, a ferry spokesman said.
