A man suspected of being the so-called “Cotton Ball Bandit” has been charged with committing 10 bank robberies in Marin County between December 2012 and December 2013, according to the district attorney’s office.
The Marin County Sheriff’s Office said the suspect of a Novato Bank robbery also is believed to have robbed two banks in Mill Valley.
Police officers in San Rafael shot and wounded a suspect bank robber Wednesday following a chase, according to authorities.
