Wednesday was move-out day for many of the more than 200 residents of “The Jungle” a massive homeless encampment near downtown San Jose, after the city served a 72-hour notice to vacate the premises.

Notice Given To Residents Of San Jose Homeless Encampment To Clear Out

City officials in San Jose have began posting 72-hour notices about the closure of “The Jungle”, a homeless encampment where about 200 people reside. About 50 have agreed to leave and are said to be transitioned into housing.
