Friends are mourning the loss of an experienced Northern California hiker whose body was found after a two-day search in the Sierra Nevada range.

Officials said 31-year-old Tom Heng of San Rafael left on what was supposed to be a day hike on Sunday to the summit of Mount Langley, which stands 14,026 feet, but never returned.
