5-Star Football Recruit Helps Stanford Land Pac-12’s Top Class

News that highly-touted defensive end Solomon Thomas announced plans to attend Stanford has pushed the Cardinal to the of the class in the Pac-12 on college football signing day, according to CBS Sports partner 247 Sports.

Andrew Luck is set to become the NFL’s No. 1 draft pick next month. Stanford pitcher Mark Appel is the likely first choice in June’s amateur baseball draft. Add women’s basketball star Nnemkadi Ogwumike into the mix, and it very well could be an impressive Cardinal three-fer.
