ICE Sweep Nets More Than 180 In Northern California

Agents with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement have made more than 2,900 arrests of convicted criminal immigrants nationwide. In Northern California, 186 were arrested.

Carlos Beltran hit two homers to give him 300 for his career and Tim Lincecum ended a three-start winless stretch as the San Francisco Giants beat the San Diego Padres 3-1 on Wednesday to complete a rare sweep in this rivalry.

David DeJesus and Ryan Sweeney each drove in two runs, Hideki Matsui doubled three times and the Oakland Athletics completed a three-game sweep of the Seattle Mariners with an 8-3 victory Sunday.
