San Francisco Internet Cafe Accused Of Illegal Gambling To Shut Down

Owners of an Internet cafe in San Francisco’s Excelsior District reached a settlement on Thursday in a lawsuit filed by the city’s attorney that called for the end of allegedly illegal gambling and other criminal activity at the site.

Hayward City Council Approves Moratorium On Sweepstakes Cafes

The Hayward City Council has voted unanimously to put a pair of Internet cafes on notice to cease operations immediately, claiming they are illegal and a front for online gambling.
