Feds Sue Sprint In San Francisco Court, Allege Overcharging $21M For Wiretaps

The U.S. government sued Sprint Communications Inc. in federal court in San Francisco Monday for allegedly overcharging federal law enforcement agencies $21 million between 2007 and 2010 for the costs of complying with court-ordered wiretaps and other surveillance.

A San Ramon divorce attorney was arrested at her Oakland home Tuesday on federal charges of evading taxes and conspiring with a former private investigator to bug the cars of her clients’ husbands, U.S. prosecutors announced.
