Although eyebrow threading is a relatively new trend in the West, it is a long-time art with roots in the Middle East and Asia. The skill has been practiced for hundreds of years and is a proven form of hair removal. Using cotton threads to twist and trim eyebrow hairs, threading provides a simple way to shape perfect brows and it takes only five to 10 minutes. The Peninsula is home to more than a few threading spots. Here are five favorites with fan followings.

Rozita Threading
444 Kipling St.
Palo Alto, CA 94301
(408) 516-6678

Rozita gets rave reviews for her threading work and the attention she pays to her clients. Her regulars are pleased that she “cleans” up the brow area after threading and tweezes stray and ingrown hairs, which other threaders may not do. Rozita is known for her natural threading talent, as her work is precise as she forms eyebrows based on a person’s face shape and what works best. Rozita also works on lips and does waxing too, which customers say is quick and efficient. Call for an appointment, as Rozita is not in every day.
