Mother's Day is one day that proves you are never too old to be with your mom and truly enjoy her company. And while moms simply love being with their kids, going out for Mother's Day brunch makes for a perfect day. Here are five brunch spots where you can spoil your mom and she'll love you even more – if that's possible.

With a friendly staff and enjoyable ambiance, Agave is the newest of four restaurants owned by Alexandro and Susan Garcia in Mountain View and Pleasanton. Alexandro, a Mexico native, brought his family-favorite recipes to Agave, with attention to blending the flavors of traditional Mexican specialties with a nod to the California style of healthy cooking. Mother's Day has always been a special day for Chef Vijay Bist, who opened his first Amber restaurant in Mountain View 16 years ago. The day allows him to bring forth his motherland's favorite dishes, using traditional recipes, to the many people who enjoy or are inquisitive about Indian delicacies from the different regions of India. Chef Vijay says, "We at Amber try to present our guests with some of the dishes that each of our staff remembers fondly, (and) that their mothers made for them." The Mother's Day brunch at Amber India, Mountain View will feature traditional, authentic dishes from different regions of India presented buffet style. There will be a few chef stations, a chaat and salad bar and specialty desserts like freshly made galebi, which is made on special occasions. Also served will be goat curry, a very popular dish, and the restaurant's signature butter chicken, along with seasonal local vegetables.

Mother's Day brunch at Amber Dhara, Palo Alto will feature the authentic regional specialties that inspired Chef Vijay Bist to open his first restaurant 16 years ago. Chef Vijay was motivated to bring his motherland's exquisite, flavorful dishes to the masses. This year's special Mother's Day brunch will include four to five different "stations" featuring cuisine from different regions of India. Some stations diners will see are "the Delhi chaat station" (street food), "tandoor barbecue station" (clay pit) " the Royal Mughlai Cuisine" of the north and "Dosa Station" of the south, to name a few. The buffet will feature a carving station, omelet station and wonderful items such as king crab legs and oysters, and will be available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with live jazz entertainment from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The restaurant will open for its regular dinner at 4 pm. The Broadway Grill advises making reservations early as its brunch fills up quickly.
