THE DEFENSE

Q: Welcome to Defend Your Ride San Francisco! What's your name and what kind of car do you have?

A: My name is Dennis. It's a 2001 Celica GT.

Q: Can you tell us a little bit about where are we at right now?

A: We are in San Francisco.

Q: Do you live in this area?

A: No, I don't.

Q: So are you visiting?

A: Yes, I am.

Q: Ah, a comedian. So how long have you had your car?

A: Since 2005, so about seven years.

Q: What color is that exactly?

A: It's silver. It is easier to clean and it stays clean.

Q: What is your car's main use?

A: Just drive it. That's it. To get to work and school. Just a couple of miles.

Q: On an average day, how many hours do you think you spend in your car?

A: Depends on what my plans are for the day, but average two to three hours.

Q: Do you like to use your car for leisure purposes as well?

A: Yeah, road trips, definitely. It was L.A. or Irvine area. It took four to five hours.Well, we were not going that fast. OK, maybe five and a half hours. I was thinking Irvine, but it was more like LA.

Q: Are there any rules for passengers when they are in your car?

A: Don't throw up! No throwing up. Don't leave trash. Pretty much just clean up after yourself.

Q: Got it. Does your car have a nickname?

A: I used to call it the Bat Mobile, but it's not black.

Q: OK, Dennis with your silver Bat Mobile, is there anything else you'd like to tell us about your car?

A: It's fun to drive. And beware of bumps. It's low, so I don't like speed bumps!
