Most Anticipated 2014 Tony Awards Performances

The 68th Annual Tony Awards are right around the corner and with stars like Neil Patrick Harris, Idina Menzel, and Fantasia performing, it's guaranteed to be one of the biggest years yet for Broadway's awards show. The Tony Awards have always provided phenomenal performances straight from the Broadway shows that are nominated, and this year's live awards ceremony will feature performances from "Violet," "After Midnight," and "Hedwig and the Angry Inch."

The anticipation is building for the amazing performances to come, so below is a list of the ones we're looking forward to the most. Tune into the 68th Annual Tony Awards on Sunday, June 8 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS to see which performance delivers the most spectacle.

"After Midnight"

Starring Fantasia, this Broadway musical looks like it provides plenty of fancy footwork, flips, and just plain, simple fun.  Fantasia's vocal talent is definitely something to look forward to as she sings alongside music legends Patti LaBelle and Gladys Knight.

"Violet"

Sutton Foster is a two-time Tony award-winning singer who brings her own take to the American-roots, folk, and gospel musical.  She'll take the stage with cast to showcase just how she won those first two Tonys.

"If/Then"

Following the success of "Wicked" and "Frozen," Idina Menzel has proven that she is a Broadway force to be reckoned with.  She'll take the stage at this year's Tony to give the world what is sure to be another amazing performance from her Broadway musical.

"Cabaret"

This musical has been revived multiple times since its original inception in 1966, including a film.  This time around Alan Cumming returns in his original role while Michelle Williams lends her vocals to the lead.

"Hedwig and the Angry Inch"

Probably the most-anticipated performance will come from Neil Patrick Harris, Broadway's golden boy.  Performing in drag for the revival of the classic off-Broadway musical and film, Harris is guaranteed to give the performance of a life time.
