Patience Pays Off For Raiders' Tavecchio
Raiders kicker Giorgio Tavecchio was named the AFC's Special Teams Player of the Week following his performance Sunday in Nasvhille. Tavecchio made all four of his field goals, including two from beyond 50 yards to become the first kicker in league history with multiple 50-yard field goals in his NFL debut. Tavecchio was signed off the practice squad the night before the game after Oakland placed Sebastian Janikowski on injured reserve with a back injury.
