Santa Clara Supervisor Resigns, Faces 5 Felony Charges
Santa Clara County Supervisor George Shirakawa resigned his post Friday and admitted to a gambling addiction, after prosecutors charged him with four felony counts of perjury and other charges in connection with his alleged misuse of public and campaign funds.
