Bike Sharing without Boundaries

It may soon be possible to borrow a bike from a kiosk in San Francisco, take it on Caltrain and drop it off in San Jose, all for a small monthly fee or even just on a day pass.

"Use the bicycle for a couple of hours to get to their meetings or do their errands, and then back to a kiosk," said Damian Breen, director of strategic initiatives at the Bay Area Air Quality Management District.

The Air District is partially funding the pilot program with an eye towards eventually expanding it to the entire Bay Area. Click here to listen.
