Livermore Woman Arrested on Rape Charges

LIVERMORE, Calif. (KCBS)_ Livermore police have arrested a 42-year-old woman for allegedly having sex with two boys under the age of 15.

Police allege that Christine Hubbs has been having sex with two underage boys since December 2008.

Hubbs is accused of sending messages and nude pictures of new breast implants to the boys from her cell phone. After contacting the victims, she would then allegedly drive them to different locations in Livermore and have sex with them.

Police began an investigation on July 27th after they received a tip from someone connected to Hubbs.   Both victims are reportedly cooperating with the investigation.

Lt. Matt Sarsfield of the Livermore Police Department told KCBS that Hubbs is acquainted with the families of both victims.

"We were able to interview the child and serve several search warrants on locations and cell phones, which corroborated the story of the victim that there was sexual relationship going on between Ms. Hubbs and the 15-year-old," said Sarsfield.

She also allegedly bought the victims Visa gift cards, dinners at restaurants, and video game consoles.

A family friend of one of the boys, who did not want to be identified, talked to CBS 5 outside the family's home and says this crime has been difficult on everybody.

"It's hard for them right now. It came as a shock. All we ask is that you respect their privacy, let them deal with this and the truth will come out," said the unidentified friend.

The married mother of three is charged with 67 felony counts of sexual assault, including oral copulation, lewd act on a child, and exhibition of lewd material to a minor.

Hobbs is in Santa Rita Jail and her bail has been set at $4.3 million, and she is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday.
