More Salad Recalled in California
On Tuesday, salad company Fresh Express announced it was recalling some of its salad because of possible E-coli contamination.
Now, on Wednesday, the Salinas-based salad company is recalling some of its products because of a possible health risk from Listeria monocytogenes.
The company and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration have announced a voluntary recall of 2,800 cases of Veggie Lovers Salad. The salad being recalled has a product code of I-208 and use-by date of August tenth.
Fresh Express also recalled several types of its ready-to-eat salads in May after salmonella was found in a package tested by the FDA.
