2 Critically Hurt In East Oakland Shooting
OAKLAND (BCN) - A shooting in East Oakland on Wednesday evening left two men in the hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
The shooting occurred at about 6:30 p.m. in the 7800 block of Outlook Avenue, in the Eastmont Hills neighborhood.
Arriving officers found that two men had been shot inside a home, police spokesman Officer Jeff Thomason said.
Both were transported to a hospital where they were listed in critical condition, he said.
A fire dispatcher initially said three people had been shot, but police Thursday clarified that there were two victims.
Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call the Oakland Police Department's homicide unit at (510) 238-3821.
