Local Girl, Amber Lily Maybe Disney's 'Next Big Thing'

SAN RAMON (CBS) - In September 2010, Disney kicked off it's 3rd season of the hit show, "Next Big Thing" where 5 unsigned, young artists compete to win the opportunity to have their single released by Disney Music Group and open for Allstar Weekend at a special holiday performance.

Tuesday, November 30th marked the last day to vote for the contestants and one young hopeful from San Ramon is part of that competition. 13 year old, Amber Lily is one of the five featured artists and featured on N.B.T. Amber Lily is a 13-year-old pop and R&B singer and songwriter from San Francisco whose first performance was at age five. Shortly after that, she began taking piano and voice lessons and started to pursue a singing career. Amber was just 10-years-old when started getting into musical theatre. Her main passion is still singing and has been working hard on original material.
