ALAMEDA (KCBS)_ Thieves made off with dozens of ornamental pieces from an Alameda street known as “Christmas Tree Lane” last weekend, leaving residents angry and disillusioned.
People come from far and wide to view the lights and holiday displays on Thompson Avenue off Fernside Boulevard this time of year. Nick Winterbauer said his family lost a fence and some decorative lighting.
“We talked to all the neighbors trying to see if anyone knew anything, but we weren’t in any luck,” he said.
