2 Arrested For Shooting Dog Near Hayward BART
HAYWARD (CBS 5) -- Two suspects were arrested Thursday evening after a dog was shot near the South Hayward Bay Area Rapid Transit Station, authorities told CBS 5.
BART service was briefly disrupted as police searched the station's parking lot looking for the weapon used in the shooting and other evidence.
The dog was shot on the corner of Tennison and Dixon streets, and police said they chased the shooting suspects to the BART station before catching them.
Police were not immediately available to provide further details.
