Daily Madden: Recalling A 1969 Title Game

(KCBS) - We dip into the archives as John Madden recalls his first AFL title game in 1969, when the Raiders hosted the Kansas City Chiefs.

It was a painful game for Raiders fans, players and Coach Madden, though the odds had been in the Raiders' favor ahead of the game, thanks to the Raiders' previous wins over the Chiefs.

Hindsight is 20/20, and you can't help but wonder whether the outcome of the game would have been different, had instant replay been an option back then. (4:30)
