SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) — A 21-year-old man was injured in a shooting Monday night outside a public housing property in San Francisco’s Mission District, a police sergeant said.
The man, who is a Sacramento resident, was standing with several other young men outside the housing authority property around 7:15 p.m. when a suspect opened fire on the group, Sgt. The man was hit and suffered a grazing wound, but he was not taken to the hospital, Andraychak said.

It was too early to determine a motive, but members of the gang task force were asked to respond to the shooting, Andraychak said.
