San Jose Condo Tower Seeks Renters, Not Buyers

SAN JOSE (KCBS) - The owners of the recently completed Three Sixty Residences in the South First Area have asked to convert the tower to an apartment building because of sluggish condominium sales.

KCBS' Matt Bigler Reports:

The first set of luxury renters could start moving in this summer once the city approves the conversion.

Other condominium buildings such as the nearby 88 high rise have seen stronger sales. The Mercury News reports 117 units have sold in that building, compared to just 48 at the end of 2009.
