Public Asked To Help Identify San Jose 7-11 Robber
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) - Police released surveillance photos Thursday of a man suspected of robbing a 7-Eleven convenience store in San Jose last September and are seeking the public's assistance in identifying him.
The robbery occurred shortly after 11:40 p.m. on Sept. 12, 2010, at the store located at 3110 Senter Road, according to police.
The man retrieved a can of beer from an aisle and walked to the front counter, where he robbed the clerk at gunpoint and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
The clerk was uninjured in the incident.
On Thursday police released photos of the suspect taken from the
store's security camera.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 40s who is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 220 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants at the time of the robbery, police said.
