Narsai David Wine Review: Williams Selyem Winery

(KCBS) - KCBS Food and Wine Editor Narsai David reviews Pinot Noirs from this Healdsburg winery.

2009 Williams Selyem Sonoma County Pinot Noir

Lush ripe red color with lush ripe cherries, like cherry pie aromas right up on top. Those ripe aromas stay with you and continue to float right on top. Nice soft balance on the palate and yes, the fruity flavors and aromas continue and linger long on the palate. $37.00.

2009 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

Bright sexy aromas of a classic Pinot Noir. They are ripe aromas of wild, black berries and cherries together with a spicy, almost smoky touch and lead to a mouthful of delicious flavors roiling over the tongue with a richness that lingers on the palate. I'd love to age this for a few years and watch it develop more complexity. Splendid wine. $46.00.
