This week in Bay Area movie theaters, the mutants return for another installment of the X-Men series, ‘First Class’. The prequel to 2000’s first film, the story is set during the cold war where a young Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) collects his first class of mutant protegé to help protect mankind from other mutants and humans alike. The film also stars Kevin Bacon as the diabolical ‘Sebastian Shaw’ and Michael Fassbender as ‘Erik Lehnsherr’ aka ‘Magneto’.
