Highland 2009 Chardonnay
Very pale straw color. Lush fullness of ripe tropical fruit touched with oak promises a serious wine, and that it is! Bring out your best and richest cream sauces for fish and poultry. The balance is really impressive. Flavors linger long after swallowing. It's hard to put the glass down...just one more sip! Great price at $26.00.
2009 Twelve Clones Pinot Noir
Medium deep red color. Classic, may I say sexy, Pinot Noir aromas. Ripe purple cherries touched with smoke. Surprisingly soft on the palate. The tannins are substantial enough for a proper backbone, but soft enough to balance the wine now. Absolutely delicious right now. This would just be the tops with a piece of grilled wild California King Salmon. Fine price at $32.00.
