Good Question: What Is The California Solar Initiative?

(CBS 5) – The Golden State has been going solar for more than 30 years. But in the past couple years, things have really heated up. Solomon asked this Good Question: What is the California Solar Initiative?

ANSWER:  The California Solar Initiative is a program administered by the California Public Utilities Commission that provides rebates to property owners and businesses for installing solar panels.   Participants can get a rebate of up to $1,750 for homes that generate 3-5 kilowatts in solar.
